INTRODUCTION

It’s a reflection of our philosophy: Small is Beautiful.
Recognising the beauty of our natural surroundings as our most precious resource, we treat mother Nature with the highest respect, continuously seeking new ways to reduce our footprint and increase our sustainability on this little slice of Paradise.

BOBBY

« We have never been so excited since the day we first opened the resort back in 2012. We truly cannot wait to share with you our new vision of hospitality, freedom and beauty at Nay Palad Hideaway. While typhoon Odette heavily devastated the resort and affected thousands of families around the island, our very first priority was to support our beloved community.

Our architect, Daniel Pouzet, has amazed us once more with extraordinary design ideas. We have also enjoyed working with hundreds of passionate artisans and craftsmen from the Philippines to rebuild the resort with sustainable local materials.
I would like to personally welcome you to experience the new expression of barefoot luxury. »

Bobby Dekeyser

« I was so excited and inspired when Bobby approached me and asked me to rebuild Nay Palad Hideaway together. I thought we did already the best we could when we first constructed the resort in 2012 and I could never imagine that not only I would have another chance to do it again, but to manage to bring it to a totally new level.

Bobby is a passionate person who gives himself one thousand percent to others. He loves design, but what he loves most is to create a cosy and comfortable atmosphere for others. This easiness comes naturally when I design alongside Bobby and it was exactly what we needed to reinstall at this slice of paradise. Nay Palad Hideaway is a place of comfort, freedom and beauty for family & friends to explore and live genuinely. »

The iconic new Dansuli Lounge is floating in the middle of water ponds on the way to the restaurant and is the perfect place for family and friends to get together and enjoy a refreshing cocktail before going for dinner or simply to share some tapas under the stunning hand-woven chimney, lit by thousands of little pin lights during the evening.

The new ocean-view restaurant is one of our new design highlights. You can take your breakfast on its low seating lounge, enjoying the delicate morning sea breeze, and then your dinner in one of its balconies, five meters above sea level to enjoy stunning views of the pristine beach. The outdoor terrace is another great location to dine, this time under the open sky, gazing at the stars. Are you in the mood for being surprised? Allow us to astonish you with unique dining scenarios around the garden, on the beach or in any of our dining pavilions around the resort.

The new Tree Lounge is another unique place brought to life by Nay Palad Hideaway to stimulate your senses and provide you and your loved ones with a mesmerising experience. Hanging on 300-year-old tree logs, the lounges are perfect to swing or relax while enjoying the stunning see view. The tree top terrace is also a great place for yoga, meditation or a tea break, while romantic dinner under the stars, surrounded by candles lights and fireflies is also available.

Five new garden villas have been redesigned and constructed to create a fresh new living atmosphere, especially for our returning guests. Every villa is reached by a wooden deck, passing through lush plants. Each villa features a luxurious master bedroom and an attic bedroom, ideal for family or friends. The generous bathroom also features an outdoor shower. The outdoor deck, covered by an Ibiza-inspired roof, offers a big lounging area with daybed and lounges.

One of our new highlights is undoubtedly the new Coral Villa. A private villa with its own pool, featuring a secluded garden, a generous outdoor lounge and a dining pavilion. A peaceful place offering complete privacy and retreat.

The Philippines are famous for their state-of- the-art craftsmanship and their passion for sophisticated design.
Hand-weaving, wood carving, carpentry, glass hand-blowing and a dozen of other traditional techniques have been used for the reconstruction of the resort. We are certain you will appreciate discovering these fine details all around the resort and praise the artisans who have been relentlessly working with us to complete this labor of love.

Take a chauffeured tour into the stunning Siargao island in our new Jeepney. It will carry you on its roof, where you can lounge in a giant hand-woven basket, while undertaking a unique adventure around the scenic roads of the island. You can plan your own itinerary, including stops at villages and points of natural beauty.

BAREFOOT LUXURY IS SUSTAINABLE LUXURY

It’s a reflection of our philosophy: Small is Beautiful.
Recognising the beauty of our natural surroundings as our most precious resource, we treat mother Nature with the highest respect, continuously seeking new ways to reduce our footprint and increase our sustainability on this little slice of Paradise.

We extend that respect to the local communities and our team who works in an inspiring and purpose driven environment, operating as a family, sharing common values, honour and integrity.

Nay Palad takes every opportunity to help our family of makers and dreamers thrive, from fostering best-practices, to spreading our commitment for positive change to our guests. We focus on finding sustainable solutions to ensure a lasting, positive impact.

We pride ourselves on the colourful variety of vegetables and herbs we grow at our very own organic farm, where all the captivating flavours and aromas of Siargao come together. Feel free to visit our garden with chef Marc to see where he sources produce from the farm and ready for your plate.
Our organic vegetables are grown with sustainable and ethical approaches according to the seasons.

Nay Palad Hideaway is part of the Long Run Initiative, aiming to create truly sustainable luxury experiences, applying the “4Cs” — conservation, community, culture and commerce — to help ensure that these unique locations are available for generations to come. We care about the communities and ecosystems that make our resort experience possible and work to support their well-being.

We create limitless Barefoot Luxury experiences and lifetime memories for our guests & friends. We envision a world in which people feel at home again by developing places to retreat, rejuvenate and reconnect with nature. We treat the world like a home. We take our shoes off at the door, take care of what we have, and are always welcoming to others.
After all, we’re only visiting.
